MEA(CCM) Technology
Catalyst layer structure, coating quality and membrane-electrode bonding quality directly affect hydrogen production efficiency, cell voltage characteristics and long-term operating stability in PEM water electrolysis. CS Hydrogen develops its MEA (CCM) technology on the basis of in-house manufacturing processes.
From Catalyst Ink to Finished CCM
MEA (CCM) is the catalyst coated membrane that determines the performance and durability of PEM water electrolysis.
From catalyst ink preparation to finished CCM, CS Hydrogen delivers uniform quality and stable performance through its own manufacturing process.
Catalyst, solvent and ionomer are combined to prepare catalyst ink for PEM water electrolysis.
The ink is treated so that catalyst particles and ionomer disperse uniformly.
An ultrasonic spray coating process is applied to form a uniform catalyst layer.
The electrode and membrane are aligned, then bonded using heat and pressure.
The protective film is removed and bonding is inspected to verify final quality.
